MUZAFFARABAD Jan 17 (TNS): The AJK Government has decided to frame a policy in consultation with all stakeholders to decrease burden of taxes on people and enhance resources through other means.
AJK PM Raja Farooq Haider took the decision in a meeting with delegation of property owners in Muzaffarabad.
A committee headed by AJK Finance Minister Dr Najeeb Naqi was constituted to make consultations with relevant people and gave recommendations to the government to be incorporated in the policy.
Raja Farooq Haider assured that people will soon get relief from the burden of double taxes. He said property tax is additional burden on people and it will cease to exist soon.
