Lahore, Jan. 18 (TNS): Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif said that development projects in Punjab were real reason behind opponents’ calls for his resignation.
Talking to media persons here, the chief minister said that during yesterday flop power show by joint political parties, opposition leaders did not demand his resignation but aimed to halts these projects.
“They are not opposing me, but these projects”, Sharif said.
He recalled that when dengue virus hit Peshawar Imran Khan had gone up the mountains.
He noted that in Punjab, high-quality medicines are being given to poor masses free-of-cost.
Lashing out at Imran Khan and Sheikh Rasheed for insulting the Parliament, Shahbaz said that: “If they are cursing the parliament, they are also part of it”.
