Sharif family on banned outfits’ hit list, Rana Sanaullah cites intelligence report

FAISALABAD Jan. 22 (TNS):  Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah has said on Sunday that intelligence agencies have reported that members of the former first family of Pakistan, disqualified premier Nawaz Sharif’s, are vulnerable to terror attacks and necessary security arrangement have been made.

The law minister made the claim during a media interaction in Faisalabad. Sanaullah said that the family is on the hit list of terror outfits for steps taken against extremism.

While talking about former premier Nawaz Sharif’s forthcoming rally in Jaranwala, the law minister said that it would a historic public rally.

He criticised opponents of ruling PML-N by saying that empty chairs in Mall Road rally of the joint opposition were cursing upon those addressing the people.

He alleged Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri of following an agenda of instability and anarchy. He further accused him of pursuing the agenda of anarchy for the past four years.

Dr Qadri is using Model Town incident for political gains, he added.

Without naming the lawmaker, Sanaullah said that the politician who announced to resign in National Assembly (NA) has maintained silence since.

The law minister asserted that there is not one security agency of Pakistan that is not assisting in Kasur rape probe.

Rana Sanaullah assured that the perpetrator would be brought to justice.
