Dallas, Jan. 22 (TNS): A teen schoolgirl injured in shooting reported at a high school in south of Dallas, Texas.
The shooting, which reportedly occurred just before 8 am local time, prompted an evacuation of students.
A local reporter tweeted that a teenage girl had been shot at the high school in Italy, Texas.
The shooter has been taken into police custody.
Parents were first notified about the shooting through a text message from the school district’s superintendent, Lee Joffre, according to a screenshot of the mass text shown to local reporters.
