Chaghi, Feb. 4 (TNS): A land dispute on Sunday claimed eight lives in Balochistan, officials say.
According to local police, at least eight people were killed when two groups fired at each other in Balochistan’s Chaghi district on Sunday morning.
Another was injured in the firing and was taken to the local hospital, district administration officials said.
The officials added that the clash took place over a land dispute.
Levies and FC forces reached the spot soon after the incident and dispersed the members of the two groups, though the situation in the area remains tense.
