A gang involved in FO fake verification nabbed

Islamabad, Feb. 4 (TNS): Islamabad police on Sunday nabbed a group involved in fake verification by the Foreign Office of Pakistan, TNS has learnt.

Officials told TNS that ASP Secretariat Police Stattion Zuhib Ranjha led the action against the gang.

In the Foreign Office, the group was involved in fake verifications of certificates and documents.

An employee of Foreign Affairs has been arrested in police action.

The accused Shahzad is a clerk in the Foreign Office’s verification department, police said.

Taimur Abbasi, another member of the gang has also been arrested.

The stamp-paper seller was also found involved in the fake verification group, police said adding that the investigations were underway while raids launched for the arrest of others members of the group.
