Punjab Assembly passes unanimously resolution on Kashmir

Lahore, Feb. 5 (TNS): Special session of Punjab Assembly held in Lahore Monday on eve of solidarity day with Kashmir.

Assembly passed a unanimously resolution demanding an immediate implementation on the UN resolutions on Kashmir and provision of right of self-determination to the people of Kashmir.

The Provincial Minister for Human Rights and Minorities’ Affairs, Khalil Tahir Sindhu presented the resolution.

The resolution reiterated its full support to the freedom movement in the Indian held Jammu and Kashmir.

The resolution also demanded complete pullback of the Indian occupied forces from the valley and stoppage of their atrocities and brutalities against the innocent people of the occupied Kashmir.

Besides, the House appealed to the international community to play its active role in providing the right of self-determination to Kashmiri.people

Later, the House was adjourned to meet again on tomorrow morning at 10.
