ISLAMABAD Feb 07 (TNS):  Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that degradation of the judiciary is unacceptable and Member of National Assembly (MNA) Talal Chaudhry should apologize if he has passed such statement.

PM Abbasi conversed in an interview with a TV channel and said that degradation of the judiciary, constitution and the law is not acceptable.

While talking about foreign policy and Donald Trump’s State of the Union s address, PM Abbasi said that no country wants peace in Afghanistan more than Pakistan. Pakistan has always been pro-negotiations.

He answered a question about United States (US) directing its ground commanders to attack alleged safe havens of terrorists in Pakistan and said that Pakistan has stated multiple times to be given intelligence and action would be taken.

Pakistan is fighting terrorism with its own resources, the premier added. He said that US authorities have been told numerously to share intelligence, if they have, and Pakistan would take action against terrorists. However, he said that Pakistan is a sovereign state and breach of the sovereignty is not acceptable.

While talking about foreign minister Khawaja Asif s statement that Pakistan s ties with the States were over, PM Abbasi said that he is entitled to his opinion. He denied Afghan media service news that President Ashraf Ghani refused to attend his telephone call to condemn bomb attacks in Kabul. PM Abbasi said that it was completely false reporting and that president Ghani did talk to him.
