ISLAMABAD, Feb 09 (TNS): President Mamnoon Hussain said that there was no place for terrorists as Pakistan is sincerely working for peace and stability in the region.
He was talking to Chairman EU Military Committee General Mikhail Kostarakos in Islamabad on Friday.The President said Pakistan has rendered unprecedented sacrifices in war against terrorism. There is no room for militants and militancy in Pakistan.
He said the international community should play its role in ending human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.
Earlier on Thursday, Chairman European Union Military Committee General Mikhail Kastarakos called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi on Thursday.
Regional security issues and matters of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.The visiting dignitary appreciated the resolve of Pakistan Army and its continuing efforts towards fighting terrorism and bringing peace in the region.
