London, Feb. 13 (TNS): Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has held a meeting with British Secretary of States for Justice David Gauke in London.
They discussed to re-operationalize prisoners exchange programme between the two countries. The Interior Minister expressed the desire to benefit from UK experience in prosecution.
Ahsan Iqbal proposed to form a Joint Working Group between the two countries to initiate prosecution reforms process in Pakistan. David Gauke agreed to the proposal.
David Gauke commended the progress made by Pakistan in the field of counter-terrorism.
Both the side agreed to work together for the promotion of justice and rule of law.
