ISLAMABAD Feb 13 (TNS): The Supreme Court on Tuesday summoned property documents of Bani Gala residence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan today from the Capital Development Authority.

Chief Justice Justice Saqib Nisar warned that the residential constructions at Bani Gala area would be demolished if they are not as per laws and regulations of the CDA.

“Building regulations must be abided,” the chief justice remarked.

Imran Khan’s counsel Babar Awan maintained that CDA has no authority over private properties, adding that the constructions around Rawal Dam are illegal.

Earlier the CDA declared the construction of the PTI chairman’s house illegal in a hearing on May 9, 2017.
