Berlin, Feb. 16 (TNS): Startling revelation or perhaps known much before has now been validated by German author Elias Davidson in his book ‘ Betrayal of India’ where the author exposed the hidden nexus between India, U.S. and Israel intelligence agencies in Mumbai attacks, 2008.
The author also claimed that the attacks were carried out in Mumbai to give impressions that India was under constant amount of threats hovering over its security.
Book also claimed, that the facts were distorted as it was entire India conspiracy to build a narrative against its possible existential threat; also adding that the judicial proceedings were influenced by the then Indian government hence making the trial more dummy and partial.
On 26 November 2008, a brutal act of terror was witnessed in the heart of Mumbai as terrorists ambushed Taj Hotel in Mumbai causing 162 civilian causalities of both local and foreign nationals.
India then was immediate to put a bunk of allegations against Pakistan that terrorists allegedly came from Pakistan’s soil and was sponsored by country’s premier agency.
These allegations were countered by Pakistan as a propaganda antics being driven by Indian authorities and offered its help to New-Delhi in searching the culprits together.
Moreover the then Indian security officials claimed that Hafiz Saeed a leader of Jamat-ud Dawa was master head behind the attacks, an allegation that Pakistan always denied.
Surprisingly on Wednesday Pakistan banned Hafiz Saeed and his charity run foundations as proscribed groups with a possible fear of actions against Pakistan by Financial Action Task force (FATF) which monitors the countries that comply with standard of procedures set up by United Nation’s designated Terror List.
United Nation Security Council has designated Jamat-ud Dawa as a proscribed organization.
