ISLAMABAD, Feb 17(TNS): Chairman NAB Justice (R) Javed Iqbal is being praised by many quarters for performing his duties exceptionally well as President National Commission for enforced disappearance as the Commission, due to his personal interest and efforts, has recovered more than 2,800 missing persons besides ensuring safe return to their homes.
According to the TNS sources Justice Javed Iqbal as president of Commission is not only performing his responsibilities in National Commission for enforced disappearances seven days a week even on closed holidays of Saturday and Sundays without receiving any remuneration and salary. He meets with the families of missing persons and tries his utmost and sincere efforts for the recovery of missing persons who are dear and near ones to the relatives of missing persons.
The relatives of missing persons acknowledged meritorious services of Justice Javed Iqbal and pray for him from the core of their heart.
The sources say that due to the performance of Nation Commission for Enforced Disappearances, as per sources, the Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan has also sent some cases of missing persons for their recovery and serious efforts are underway to recover missing persons. The main reason of the success of Justice Javed Iqbal is his commitment, dedication and sincerity to duties. Justice Javed is not using government resources and he is pursuing the mission of recovering missing persons mostly by using his own resources. The dedication of Justice Javed Iqbal for mitigating the sufferings of the distressed people is laudable and appreciated from time to time. Moreover, as Chairman NAB he has made NAB today as vibrant Anti-Corruption organisation of the country and made comprehensive Anti-Corruption strategy which has in four months yielding excellent results and today NAB is the only hope of the nation who is pursuing the case of eradication of corruption with the policy of “Accountability for All”.
