Chief Justice orders for fixing Imran petition seeking merger of FATA with KP for hearing

Islamabad, Feb 22 (TNS):  Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar has ordered for fixing for hearing petition seeking merging of FATA with KP by setting aside the objections raised by registrar office over it.

CJP heard the PTI Chairman Imran Khan petition regarding registrar office objections in chamber. Babar Awan appeared on behalf of Imran Khan. The CJP while rejecting the registrar office objections ordered for fixing the petition for hearing. It is pertinent to mention here that PTI chairman Imran Khan had filed petition in SC on November 22 last year seeking court’s order for merging FATA with KP. The registrar office had rejected it with raising objections.
