Rawalpindi, Feb. 23 (TNS): Amid tension on LoC, Sardar Masood Khan, President Azad Jammu and Kashmir, on Friday met Army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa.
The meeting was at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, military media wing stated in a press release.
According to ISPR statement, the COAS and President AJK discussed hostile situation on Line 0f Control.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement added that there was an agreement to continue policy of restraint on Indian provocations as on both sides, it is Kashmiris who suffer from escalation.
Masood Khan praised Pakistan military contribution towards security and development in the Azad state of J&K, the statement added.
