Islamabad, Feb 28 (TNS): National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed a supplementary reference against Sharif family regarding Al-Azizia Steel Mills in Accountability Court. In the reference former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his sons were nominated as the main beneficiaries in the steel mill. A list of 14 witnesses of prosecution is also attached with the reference.
According to the documents of the reference , it is revealed after investigation that when Nawaz Sharif had established Al-Azizia Steel Mills, at that time a clear cut contradiction was found in his actual income and declared income. Hussian Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz also helped their father in the management of the mills. Online got the documentary evidences according to which the declared assets of the accused were 54.98 million dollars in financial year 2000 -2001. NAB also made the record of transactions received from Hill Metal Steel Mills part of supplementary reference.
