Documents of Imran Khan’s Bani Gala residence are fake: SC told

Islamabad, Feb. 28 (TNS): A major blow for PTI chief as ex-secretary of the Union Council has termed the blueprint and No Objection Certificate of Imran Khan’s Bani Gala residence as fake.

In his rejoinder submitted to the apex court in case of encroachments in Bani Gala, Muhammad Umar, former secretary of the Union Council, said he did not issue such documents to Imran Khan.

He added that the documents presented before the court were also not issued by the local authority.

Umar, who was the secretary of the Union Council of Sohan in 2003, added that at the time of his service there was no computer facility in his office and all documents and maps had been prepared manually.

Ex-secretary added they had asked PTI chairman to submit blueprint of documents and map of his house for further proceedings over his request, however, it was not provided by Imran Khan.

Imran Khan has stated that he purchased over 300 Kanal of land in the name of his ex-wife Jemima in 2002.

Imran Khan had stated that he had obtained an NOC for the construction of his house in Bani Gala.
