Islamabad, March 4 (TNS): Ahead of the upcoming general elections, Senior PPP leader Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah contacted PTI, major opposition party, to finalized caretaker government set up, a press statement issued by the PPP’s media cell stated here on Sunday.
According to press release, the leader of the Opposition in National Assembly contacted the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Shah Mehmood Qureshi to discuss the interim setup in the federation and all four provinces.
“PTI will soon forward the names of its nominees for the caretaker prime minister and chief ministers to the opposition leader,” the statement read.
It further stated: “Discussions surrounding the caretaker government had been going on within PTI and the nominations for the interim setup will soon start coming in”.
