Islamabad, March 5 (TNS): Rangers and police on Monday carried out a joint search operation in several areas of the federal capital and arrested 42 suspects and seized ammunition from their possession.
Senior Superintendent of Police Najeeb-ur Rehman Bugvi said that the search operation was carried out within Noon police jurisdiction, Rahman Town and Fareed Town of the federal capital. He said during the search operation, at least 350 houses were checked and 42 suspects arrested. He said during the search operation two 30-bore pistols, three 32-bore pistols, four 12-bore double barrel guns and bullets were seized from their possession. The suspects have been shifted to respective police stations for further investigations.
