Quetta, March 6 (TNS): National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday arrested proclaimed offender Mangal Khan in bogus appointments case of Balochistan’s Education Department, said a press release issued by the anti-graft watchdog.
According to statement, the officers of Education Department and Balochistan’s AG Office inflicted a loss of Rs 4.4 million to the national exchequer.
“Former Education Department director Abdul Karim Kiazai, Education Department Additional Director Nizamud Din Mengal with complicity of Balochistan’s AG Office made bogus appointments of teachers” the statement added.
Further investigations are underway into the matter, it concluded.
