Islamabad March 7 (TNS): The Tarnol police have booked a man for allegedly grabbing the plot of a widow.
Fozia Afridi, the widow of former member provincial assembly Badsha Khan Afridi, las lodged a complaint with the local police that Malik Abdul Majeed has grabbed her plot in the Tarnol area and according to her, the accused wanted to construct a housing society on her land.
The accused is already an owner of a private housing society in the area.
After registering the case, the police raided different locations to arrest the accused, however, he could not be arrested as he has gone underground after the case was filed against him, fearing police arrest.
According to sources, the accused is a notorious land-grabber in the area.
