Islamabad, March 7(TNS): Amid race for Senate chairmanship, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Wednesday nominated Barrister Farogh Naseem for top slot in the upper house of the Parliament.

This was announced by Bahadurabad faction of MQM-P while talking to media outside Election Commission of Pakistan.

Khalid Maqbool Siddique said that there will be progress in proceedings of Senate if Naseem took the chair.

“I want to send this message to parliamentarians through media to consider this suggestion for the betterment of Pakistan,” he said.

Siddique also shed light on the issues party faced during last three years because of which number of MQM-P senators reduced to five from seven.

He also vowed to fight against the delimitation process claiming that 10.5 million people of Karachi were not included in the census.
