Islamabad, March 7 (TNS): In an unexpected move, PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday rejected PML-N offer to re-elect Mian Raza Rabbani as the Senate chairman.
Rabbani’s nomination was proposed by PML-N’s life-time chief Nawaz Sharif.
Speaking to media in a joint news conference with Maulana Fazlur Rehman here on Wednesday, former President said he doesn’t want to see accept PML-N proposal.
JUI-F chief, on the occasion, said he would consider proposals of both PPP and PML-N.
Maulana added that his party’s executive committee would take final decision in this regard.
