Ali ahangir Siddiqui appointed as Pakistan’s Ambassador to US

Islamabad, March 8 (TNS): Ali Jahangir Siddiqui, son of stockbroker-turned-banker Jahangir Siddiqui, has been appointed as Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US.

According to media reports, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi approved the appointment.

Ali Jahangir Siddiqui was serving as a special assistant to the Prime Minister, on financial and business issues.

Ali is chairman of JS Bank Ltd.

He also served as director in Airblue, Lucky Cement, Azgard Nine, and several other giant firms.

Ali Jahangir Siddiqui would replace Aizaz Chaudhry in the United States.
