Lahore March 10 (TNS): The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday arrested four more officials of the Punjab government related to the Ashiana Housing scandal
According to the anti-graft body, three officials of the Punjab Land Development Company (PLDC), Bilal Qadwai, Imtiaz Haider, Col (retd) Arif and the Lahore Development Authority chief Israr Saeed have been taken into custody in the high profile scam involving billions of rupees.
The anti-graft watchdog grilled the arrested officials for over nine hours.
The NAB has already taken EX-DG LDA Ahad Cheema and Shahid Shafiq, the chief executive officer of Bismillah Engineering Company, an entity of the Lahore Casa Developers that was given the contract despite being a C-category firm.
