Islamabad March 10 (TNS): Police and intelligence agencies on Monday arrested five suspects including a woman and seized hashish and narcotics from their possession.
The joint operation was carried out in the Mirabadi area and its adjoining areas and around 121 houses were searched.
The Ramna police said that the suspects have been shifted to the police station for further investigation.
The Mirabadi area and its surrounding localities are infested with drug-peddlers, smugglers, anti-social elements and suspected criminals and the police’s presence is hardly found in these areas which have virtually turned into dens.
