Maryam hits hard at Imran-Zardari alliance

Islamabad, March 12 (TNS): After PPP-PTI joint nominee Sadiq Sanjrani elected as Chairman Senate, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz termed Sanjrani’s triumph as “the worst defeat”.

Former first-daughter Maryam Nawaz took to Twitter to express her response to the development saying: “O Chess piece! You are not the winner, even you faced the worst defeat, dare to face the masses”.

She also hits hard at Imran-Zardari alliance which she believes was the outcome of ‘third umpire’.

The senators on Monday elected common nominee of PPP and PTI Sadiq Sanjrani as Chairman of the Upper House of the Parliament.

Sanjrani bagged 57 votes out of 103 casted votes.
