Opposition-backed Saleem Mandviwalla chosen as deputy chairman of the Senate

Islamabad, March 12 (TNS): Minutes after PPP-PTI nominee Sadiq Sanjrani elected as Chairman Senate, opposition-backed Saleem Mandviwalla became deputy chairman of the Upper House of the Parliament.

Mandviwalla secured 54 votes while Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Usman Kakar’s bagged 44 votes.
