Karachi March 13 (TNS): The Karachi police on Tuesday claimed to have a fake gynecologist from the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre after the hospital administration alerted the police about the presence of an anonymous and suspicious lady doctor at the gynecology ward.
Police said that the fake doctor, identified as Simreen, had been ‘performing the duty’ at the gynecology ward without being noticed by the administration. According to the police, the suspect may have carried out some fake delivery operations masquerading herself as a specialist.
After the administration alerted the police, a team raided the ward and shifted to the Saddar police station.
Later, she was produced before a local magistrate, who sent her on a three-day judicial remand. The judge asked the police to investigate the suspected doctor in the jail.
