New Delhi, March 14 (TNS): Former Pakistani captain Rashid Latif was seen showering praises on an Indian cricketer, Indian media reported on Wednesday.
Rashid Latif, who is revered as one of the best wicketkeepers to have played the game for Pakistan, heaped praises on former Indian captain MS Dhoni.
In an interaction, Latif hailed Dhoni as a very cool person.
He remarked that it was the calmness of Dhoni that brought so many laurels for the Indian cricket team under his captaincy.
He also said that Dhoni is a very good human being.
Latif feels that Dhoni is not only a good ambassador of the game in India but also all over the world.
The camaraderie between the Indian and the Pakistani cricketers is often spoken about. While the on-field rivalry is a popular one, the players are great friends off the field. Keeping all the political tensions aside, the players of the two countries have always praised one another.
