Islamabad, March 15 (TNS): Police pressurizing family of minor girl, murdered after gang-rape in Islamabad slum, to abandon the case.
8 Years old Samreen was gang-rapped and murdered at Mera Jaffar, a slum in Islamabad and her body was found on March 7 inside a hut in the shantytown.
TNS team visited the slum where this horrific incident took place and talk to parents of minor victim.
All three culprits involved in molestation and murder have been arrested however police pressurizing family of minor girl to abandon the case against money.
Talking to TNS, Samreen’s parents said that Nadeem, main accused of this incident, is nephew of tout of local Police.
Due to this, the police have sympathy with culprits and pressuring family of victim to seal a deal with miscreants.
They told TNS that the horrific incident took place in jurisdiction of Golra Police Station.
The incident came to light when passersby noticed the girl inside a hut at deserted slum on Wednesday, they added.
Police rushed to the crime scene at slum located in F-12 sector of Islamabad.
Police had shifted the dead body of the deceased girl to PIMS for autopsy and other medical formalities.
