Gang involved in raping young girls busted in Karachi

Karachi, March16 (TNS): The Karachi police on Friday claimed to have arrested a  group of four men who  were involved in raping young girls.

The Deputy Inspector General West Amir Farooqi said that on tip –off the police personnel raided a flat in Samanabad and arrested accused. The gang involved raping young girls by deceiving them for jobs and scholarships. He said that the police  also recovered three 32, bore pistols and one gun from their possession.

 

He said that  the accused used to con young girls who were studying in different colleges of the city for false promising to give jobs  and marriage. The accused identify as Daniyal Ahmed, Afaq Ahmed, Asad Niazi and Ghuffran Mirza during the investigation they confessed that they used to blackmailing young girls after making their illegal videos. Farooqi  said the family of victims are reluctant to register case against the accused due to ethical values of the society. The police said that if the families of victims cooperate to proceed the case further the identity of the victims will not be disclosed. The accused  were sent on 12 days judicial remand.
