Saifullah Family serves legal notice to a private media house   for levelling false allegations

Islamabad, March 16 (TNS): The Saifullah Family has served legal notice to a private media house over levelling false allegations.

The spokesman of Saifullah Family said that Saifullah family neither directly or indirectly owns the “Pheasantry” Farm property in England or any of the alleged offshore companies in Jersey and Belize which claimed by a media house.

He said that legal notice served to the management of the media house and a complaint also lodged with the  Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA).

He said that information was disseminated by media house without contacting or cross-checking of the information from Family or making any effort to verify the veracity of the preposterous claims.

He said a defamation suit of RS 10 billion sent to media house   to be deposited in the Bait ul Maal and demanded to tender unconditional apology, the relief sought urges taking immediate notice of such broadcast, and due action against the media house and  directing it to forthwith cease and desist from broadcast of libelous, scandalous and defamatory material against the family and remove such material from its archives, internet, youtube  and other sources.
