India did not issue visas to Pakistani pilgrims

Islamabad, March 16 (TNS): Pakistan on Friday said that India did not issue visas to Pakistani pilgrims so far, says a press release issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA).

The statement says New Delhi has so far not issued visas to Pakistani pilgrims desiring to attend Urs at Ajmer Sharif, a holy site for Muslims.

Urs of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Ajmeri will start from 19th and will continue till 29th of this month, according to the Spokesperson of the Ministry of religious affairs.

He said the government of Pakistan is in continuous contact with the Indian officials in this regard.
