Islamabad March 20 (TNS): An enraged teacher tortured a six-year-old girl and a five-year-old in Lodhran after they showed up at the school a few minutes late.
The incident took place at New Al-Farooq Public School, being run under Punjab Education Foundation, in Thakar Wala in Lodhra.
In the footage, the teacher could be seen torturing the two little students, who are pleading for mercy. During the torture, the girl student suffered serious injuries to her eye and it swelled. The teacher banished the students the two students from the school.
The incident evoked a severe condemnation from the parents and the area locals who demanded that the Punjab chief minister take notice of the incident and take the teacher to task.
