Muzaffarabad March 21 (TNS): At least nine people were killed and six others injured when a passenger bus plunged into a ravine in the Chakothi area of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
The passenger bus was heading to Chakothi from Muzaffarabad when it skidded off the road while negotiating a turn and fell into the ravine. At least nine people were killed on the spot while six others sustained serious injuries.
Rescue teams and police shifted the dead and the injured to a hospital Muzaffarabad for medico-legal formalities. The identity of the victims could be identified immediately.
