Kabul March 21 (TNS): A suicide bomber blew himself up in front of the Kabul University on Wednesday, killing at least eight people and wounding 20 others, officials said.
The suicide attacker on foot detonated himself in front of Kabul University, the interior ministry said in a statement.
The Afghan capital has beefed up security for Nawroz, the Persian New Year, being celebrated today.
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
