Islamabad, March 27 (TNS): In an unusual development, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi met Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister arrived apex court without any protocol where Chief Justice received Abbasi at judges’ gate at the top court building.
According to media reports, the one-on-one meeting was lasted about one hour and 55 minutes.
The most anticipated meeting between the premier and the top judge was scheduled after 5:00 pm on Tuesday evening.
No official statement regarding the meeting issued neither by neither PM Office nor by the top court.
