Rawalpindi, March 29 (TNS): Commander Lahore Corps Lieutenant General Aamer Riaz conferred military awards to Army personnel for acts of gallantry during operations, outstanding performances in respective fields and for their long meritorious services, says a press release issued by ISPR here on Thursday.
Investiture ceremony held at Corps Headquarters Lahore where a large number of officers and relatives of shuhadas attended the ceremony.
22 officers were awarded SITARA-I-IMTIAZ (MILITARY), 58 officers were awarded TAMGHA-E-IMTIAZ (MILITARY) and 17 officers and soldiers were awarded TAMGHA-E-BASALAT. Medals of Shuhadas were received by their family members.
