Petrol price likely to slash by Rs5.26 per liter

ISLAMABAD, Mar 30 (TNS): The price of petrol (motor spirit) is likely to reduce by Rs5.26 per liter with effect from April 1.

According to a summary, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has forwarded a price-revision summary to the petroleum ministry for determining the prices of petroleum products for the next month.

The authority has suggested decreasing petrol price by Rs 5.26 per liter, bringing the petrol price at Rs 82.81 per liter, while it proposed a slight increase of Rs0.65, Rs 0.13 and Rs 0.55 in rates of high-speed diesel, superior kerosene oil and light-diesel oil respectively.
