Federal cabinet announces Kashmir Solidarity Day on Friday

Islamabad April 3 (TNS): The federal cabinet on Tuesday announced that the Kashmir Solidarity Day will be marked on Friday to express solidarity with the Kashmiris of the Indian held Kashmir.

The federal cabinet that met under the chair of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi also decided to send envoys to foreign countries to highlight the human rights violations and Indian forces’ atrocities on the innocent Kashmiris.

Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif gave a presentation on the situation in the Indian held Kashmir.

He apprised the meeting of Pakistan’s efforts to garner the support of the world powers to put pressure on India to end spill the blood of innocent Kashmiris.

The federal cabinet offered Fateha for the martyred Kashmiris and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.

The meeting also adopted a resolution, which said that the cabinet members will participate in the joint session of the AJK Legislative Assembly on Wednesday.
