Kabul April 6 (TNS): Prime Minister reached in Kabul on Friday morning to hold talks with the Afghan leadership on a host of issues including the cross-border terrorism and the use of Afghan soil by TTP terrorists to launch attacks on Pakistan.
On arrival in Kabul, President Ashraf Ghani received the prime minister at Presidential Palace. Later a guard of honour and national anthems of the two countries were played.
PM Abbasi inspected the guard of honour and took the salute.
The prime minister is accompanied by Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal, National Security Adviser Nasser Janjua and Governor Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and other senior officials.
Pakistan and Afghanistan had been indulged in the blame game, accusing each other sponsoring and hosting terrorists hostile to their respective countries. At the same time, both the countries deny allowing their soil to be used against each other. The mistrust between the two countries and terrorist activities on both sides of the border have strained relations between the neighbouring countries.
