Lahore April 7 (TNS): The Lahore High Court Bar Council held a rally on Saturday in support of Chief Justice Saqib Nisar.
The lawyers claimed that certain forces have launched a vilification campaign against the chief justice over his judicial activism.
The lawyers raised slogans in support of the chief justice and against the forces who want to malign him.
Addressing the rally, senior lawyers said that the chief justice has booted the confidence of marginalized people in the judiciary and they have expectations form him and the top judiciary. They condemned the campaign and said that some people were criticizing the top judge for a political mileage.

The judicial activism has awaked the lethargic bureaucrats and institutions, the lawyers said asking the chief justice to go after the corrupt.
