ISLAMABAD, Apr 11 (TNS): An Accountability Court on Wednesday released former Capital Development Authority (CDA) chairman Imtiaz Inayat Elahi who was arrested on March 6 on corruption charges.
The NAB has arrested Imtiaz Inayat Elahi over dishonestly ordering slowdown of work on an ongoing project without a cogent reason and misused the authority causing loss to the exchequer. The accused was produced before the judge to the accountability court in Islamabad where a 7-day physical remand has been granted to NAB for investigation as per law.
