Peshawar, April 11 (TNS): President of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Shahbaz Sharif promised that his party would transform Peshawar into modern city like Lahore if they come into power after upcoming elections.

Addressing a workers convention here on Wednesday, Shahbaz vowed to complete under construction Metro bus project in Peshawar as soon as in just five months.

The Chief Minister said that he considers Peshawar as his home; the people of this city always welcomed him with opened arms.

Shahbaz said if God give him a chance, he will build metro train project in Peshawar in same year.

Shehbaz claimed that Peshawar Metro being constructed by PTI-led KP government is Rs 40 billion costlier than that of Lahore.

“Imran Khan Niazi where are the rest of Rs40 billion,” asked Shahbaz.

Shehbaz said that the PTI chief doesn’t appear before the courts on the defamation cases hearings.

Shehbaz while lashing out at the PTI chief called him a man who just blames others and does nothing for the masses.

Terming ‘Billion Tree Tsunami’ project as mega fraud, Shahbaz said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government cannot make people fool.
