Islamabad April 17 (TNS): Islamabad High Court (IHC) judge Shaukat Aziz Siddique has said that adultery Adultery, debauchery, alcohol and drugs have permeated across the federal capital while the police personnel instead of cracking down on the ‘depravity’ themselves were roaming with prostitutes and hermaphrodites.

While taking up the case about the rising crimes in Islamabad, the IHC judge observed that sheesha and drug dens have popped up in Kohsar Market while bureaucrats, influential and others indulge in every kind revel and debauchery in the federal capital.

The male police even don’t spare their women counterparts. Women police across Pakistan cry about the excesses at the hands of their male counterparts,” he said while refereeing to a recent complaint that surfaced on the social media where women police constables had said that they were being sexually harassed at Islamabad Police headquarters by senior-level officers and their personal staff.

The judge further said that if the law allows, such police officials should be shot at D-Chowk in front of the public.

To this, Islamabad Police Inspector General Azam Taimuri, who was present in the court, said that he will take action against such officials even if he was dismissed from service.

The judges inquired from the top police chief as who was among the bureaucrats, judges and maulvis are involved revelry and partying. The judge said that the whole city has turned into drug and debauchery dens and the police have turned a deaf ear to the issue.

The court sought a comprehensive report from the police on the issue and adjourned the hearing for 15 days.
