Sialkot April 18 (TNS): A 25-year-old domestic maid worker had acid thrown in her face and the whole body by the son of her employers in the Pakpura area of Sialkot on Wednesday.
Police said that Asma, 25, who was working as a domestic worker, had complained with the parents of Anas* for allegedly harassing her. While the employers were out, Anas* threw acid on Asma and she sustained 90 percent burn wounds. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition while the alleged suspect has fled his home while the police claimed to have been raiding to arrest him.
