Center targetting Karachi via power cuts, fragile democracy practiced: Bilawal

MULTAN, April 23 (TNS): Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday accused federation of targeting masses of Karachi via power cuts while asserting that ‘fragile democracy’ had been practiced in the country.

He was talking to media here in Multan today after offering condolences to Yousaf Raza Gillani on the death of his nephew.

“Talks with the federal government on the issue of appointment of caretaker premier are underway. We [PPP and ruling PML-N] would finalize the name soon”, Bilawal told reporters while adding, “A strong democracy will ensure strong Pakistan”.

The junior Bhutto reiterated that PPP would make southern Punjab a new province if the party gains power in center whereas he accused ousted premier Nawaz Sharif of hatching conspiracies against Benazir Bhutto and Junejo’s governments.
