PML-N Sindh leadership calls on new party head Shahbaz Sharif

KARACHI, 23 April (TNS): A delegation of provincial Leadership of PML-N Sindh led by Acting President Shah Muhammad Shah called on newly elected President of the party and Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here at the Governor’s House on Monday.

According to a handout issued here, the chief minister, talking on the occasion, said that people of Sindh had realised that only Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) could solve their problems and added that he had witnessed tremendous passion in the people during meetings which held at Liari and Baldia Town yesterday.

“If such a passion is found in Punjab then it is no surprise but it is certainly a matter of surprise in Sindh, “he added. Shehbaz Sharif said the people of Karachi have reposed their confidence on the PML-N.

The workers of PML-N are the vanguards in the political arena and unity amongst them is need of the hour.

The workers should maintain close and continuous liaison with the people and they should selflessly serve them, he added.

He said that he would visit the interior of Sindh very soon to hold meetings with the office-bearers at the district level. Shehbaz Sharif said that restoration of peace and elimination of extortion and killings was a proof of vision of Nawaz Sharif and role of Pakistan Army and Rangers was commendable in the restoration of peace in Karachi.

He said that K-4 water project, energy, roads and motorway schemes were initiatives of Nawaz Sharif and speedy work was going on over them. Acting PML-N Sindh President Shah Muhammad Shah said that Shehbaz Sharif’s double entry in Sindh in a week-time had unnerved the opponent parties.

Besides Shah Muhammad Shah, Acting General Secretary Senator Saleem Zia, Senator Asad Junejo, Shafqat Sherazi, Zain Ansari, Ali Akbar Gujjar and district office-bearers from across Sindh, were present on the occasion.
