Islamabad, April 26 (TNS): CDA in collaboration with ICT Administration and Islamabad Police has conducted a mega operation on Thursday against illegal bus stations at Faizabad.
According to a press release issued by the civic body, the operation was carried out against transport addas (bus-stations) operating illegally and a series of litigations are already under proceeding in Islamabad High Court.
In grand mega operation all operational staff of Enforcement Directorate under the supervision of Mr Muhammad Ramzan Dy Director, staff of DMA, MCI headed by Mr. Ali Sufian Director has took part while none from Environment Wing participated during the operation.
ICT Magistrate Ali Javed along with the reserve police provided magisterial cover and also supervised the activity. Two excavator machines were also borrowed from MPO for demolition purpose.
During the operation, massive sheds erected by the six (06) transport addas for parking their vehicles got dismantled with the help of machinery. These transport addas which are operated includes Islamabad Express, Shuja Express, Raja Travels 1 Raja Travel 2 & Raja Travel 3. The vehicles found parked beneath the sheds were evacuated prior to demolition. Some miscreants also tried to desist the operation but the situation was taken in control safe & sound.
